My Little Artist....

I was at my mom's tonight working on some christmas gifts were giving to people and Bryn was left alone for a few minutes when I kept hearing her yelling for me. I walked into the garage and this is what I found....

Yep...she helped us paint our boards....again except the WRONG color!! thank goodness she didn't paint grandpas truck that was right behind her. :) I couldn't even get mad at her cause I was laughing sooo hard. she was so proud that she had done this all by herself. she just kept telling me, I help too momma, I did it too. she was even so busy painting that she forgot to go pee....OOPS!! (so she got double bathtime tonight, as you can see she is already in her pj's, cause she had already taken a bath before all this)

1. Did you date someone in high school? yes, and I even married him!! :)

2. What kind of car did you drive? first it was a big blue flatbed truck, then my dad decided to buy me something new..so i got a chevy cavalier. it was even PURPLE!!

3. Did you pass your driver's license test the first time? yes of course! (I would even drive myself to drivers ed. bwaa ha ha)

4. Were you a party animal? no

5. Were you considered a flirt? um I dont think so....

6.Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? nope

7. Were you a nerd? helk no

8. Were you on any varsity teams? yes, on cross country. I rocked at running back then!! and Drillteam also.

9. Did you ever get suspended or expelled? no, I could count on my one hand how many times i went to the principals office.

10. Can you still sing your fight song? oh ya baby

11. Who were your favorite teachers? coach Hafen, Mr. Rose, and Mr. Pitts

12. Where did you sit at lunch? I went everywhere. either the monroe market, Bullies, home and sometimes to Josh's house.

13. School mascot: Rams

14. School colors: Red and White

15. Did you go to homecoming and who with? yes I went 2 years and went with the same date both times....yep Josh! :)

16. If you could go back and do it again, would you? I think I would so I could do more and different things during those times. I had a lot of fun in high school

17. What do you remember most about graduation? I dont really remember a lot about it, other than just doing the "walk" and sitting there. I do remember walking up on the stage and being handed my diploma.

18. Where did you go on Senior Skip Day? well they went to Lagoon, but I didnt go. I went up north shopping with my mom.

19. Were you in any clubs? yea, FFA, and I think one other but cant remember

20. Have you gained weight since then? I think maybe a couple pounds but I am about the same as I was back then....can you believe that?!

21. Who was your prom date? um of course...Josh! and I wouldn't have traded any of my dances with him to go with someone else. I am so glad we went together!! now you can say aaawww! :)

22. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? Been there, done that

23. Did you have a job while in high school? yes a couple. at 16 I worked at JB's. at 17 I worked at Bullies, and at 18 I worked for Chisholm Dentist and Bullies.

24. Worst class? ha ha Mr. Wallace's math class... oh I HATED that class.

25. Favorite class? probably coach Hafens or Mrs. Roberts.

Breaking News!!!!

Our prayers have been answered!! we just got word that the cancer has NOT spread to Ron's lymph nodes! YIPEE!! we are sooo grateful to hear this news. so this means no chemo and we couldn't be happier. thank you for your prayers and concerns. It means so much to us that you care.

When it rains, it pours....

So as most of you know my mother in law was diagnosed a little over 2 years ago with brain cancer. she endured so much and fought clear up to the end when she passed away in March. well we thought we had our trials with cancer over, but now we have been hit hard again. On Thursday, my father in law was diagnosed with colon cancer. he had surgery on Sunday to remove it and took 8 inches of colon out. the cancer did not spread to his liver (thank heavens) but we are not sure whether or not it got to his lymph nodes. they are being checked over and we will have the results in a few days. if it has not spread to them, then he doesn't have to have chemo. but if it has then he will have to do through that. we are soooo praying that it has not spread! So please keep him in your prayers also. thanks and I will let you know what the results are.

FuNnY sToRY!!

I have switched jobs in the school, so I no longer go in the morning and jump around from 1st to 3rd grades, I now go in at 11:00 and work in the Kindergarten. So now I get to spend my morning with Bryn alone. She has been really obsessed with babys in her belly and nursing her babies. I don't know if thats normal or if my child is just not normal! Anywhoo, as I was doing her hair she was looking in the mirror and said, "look mom!" I then said "look at what?" she then pointed and started patting her belly and said, "my baby" I said your baby huh? then she proceeded with, "and look there's my big boobs too!" I about died laughing! in the picture you can see with her vest on, that they have "bumps" where it would look like she had a little belly and boobs. she is so dang funny. she comes up with the silliest things! I just love her to death!! :)

Happy Halloween everyone!! this is one of my favorite holidays, why you might ask.....

well of course, because I get to dress up with my kids!! :) (and also cause I work at the school and we have a parade that people from the community can come and watch. I don't have any pics of the parade, cause of course I was in it, but maybe my mom took some, and I can steal some from her. but the others are at school during the halloween parties in Porters and Braxtons classrooms.

PumpKiN dAyZ!!

It's that time of year again!! Today was our yearly Pumpkin Days at Grandpa and Grandma Utley's house. We started it off with of course.... food!! boy was it delicious! yummy! we then bobbed for apples, (yes even I did it,and I was the first to get an apple. thank you, thank you! but sorry no pics of me) then we painted and carved pumpkins, decorated cupcakes and make blood shot eyeballs! We had a blast, and can't wait until next year!!

10 Things I Can't Live Without....

Jennie tagged me on 10 things I cannot live without...well most of these are things that I just simply DON'T want to live without!! (they are my comforts) :)


#1: of course my husband Josh.
I dont know where I would be without him. He is the best thing that has happened to me and he is the best father to our kids.


#2: definitely my kids! they are my everything. of course, they can be little turkeys at times, but I still wouldnt trade them for anything.



#3: the church, I wouldnt be here where I am without it. (I put this picture of Christ instead of an actual church, because I absolutely love this pic, it is one of my very very favorites)


#4: lets just say I have serious issues with this....I LOVE LOVE LOVE to shop. whether it be for me, Josh, the boys, or of course my favorite Brynlee. its just sooo much fun to buy for little girls!



#5: I seriously could just eat chocolate all day long! it doesn't really matter what kind, but I do get on kicks where I only feel like a certain kind, then it switches to another kind. mmmm...now I feel like eating some :)


#6: my cell phone. well actually any phone will do for me. whether its talking or texting, I like it


#7: DR. PEPPER....yummy! I seriously could not live without it. if I don't get atleast one everyday, lets just say I am not the happiest person :)


#8: um hello, blogging! I seriously could sit in front of my computer for hours at a time. if you ask my hubby, he would say I already do! (somedays its close) whether its blogging, emails, shopping, or even browsing, I'm there.

#9: DVR... I record all my shows I can't get to and watch them at night or after I get home from work. (cause the boys are still at school and Bryn's taking a nap)



#10: my camera. ya I wish mine was this nice! but I love taking pictures of the kids. (so I can blog about it later) well some of them anyways. but its so I can scrapbook them, if I could ever keep caught up!!
