When it rains, it pours....

So as most of you know my mother in law was diagnosed a little over 2 years ago with brain cancer. she endured so much and fought clear up to the end when she passed away in March. well we thought we had our trials with cancer over, but now we have been hit hard again. On Thursday, my father in law was diagnosed with colon cancer. he had surgery on Sunday to remove it and took 8 inches of colon out. the cancer did not spread to his liver (thank heavens) but we are not sure whether or not it got to his lymph nodes. they are being checked over and we will have the results in a few days. if it has not spread to them, then he doesn't have to have chemo. but if it has then he will have to do through that. we are soooo praying that it has not spread! So please keep him in your prayers also. thanks and I will let you know what the results are.

I had heard they had found a tumor, I was sooo hoping it wouldn't be cancer. You guys have had enough. Sometimes life just doesn't seem fair. We'll be thinking of you and if you need ANYTHING, please let us know.

I cannot put into words how hard it is to lose people to cancer, but stay strong and pray and hope for the best.
