to bring you HUNTING season!! That's right the season of hunts are starting. Josh has been putting in for Bull Elk for the past 13 years! and finally drew this year. so you know, there has to be a scouting camping trip before the BIG hunt even begins. so I am a widow with 3 kids starting today and ending um....who knows when! :) I guess when he gets "THE BIG ONE" so while he is off having a great old time, I am slaving away in my kitchen bottling peaches! I started a little late tonight, so I only got 14 quarts done, which I am getting up early to do tons more. But it will all be worth it when I am done and have lots of yummy peaches stored up for the winter! pictures to be posted later...

Glad we live in the city so there is no need for hunting trips:):):) Good luck on the peaches..you'll have to send me some when you get all done! I made lots of peach jam last week and it was a pain in the rear and my kitchen was a wreck, but its all worth it in the end:)
Look at you miss domestic. Way to go. I still need to learn how to bottle.
I canned salsa & that was enough for this year. I think I'm just lazy. You are so good!!

Hunting, ya just gotta love it. Good job on the peaches, they look delicioso! I need to try bottling, everyone says it is easy.
